Grief and bereavement support for children and youth ages 5–19 through the Central Okanagan Hospice Association (COHA). All programs are confidential and at no cost. ▸ What you can get • One-to-one counselling for children and youth grieving a death, or facing the expected death of a family member registered with the Interior Health Central Okanagan Hospice Palliative Care Program • One-to-one expressive arts therapy • Grief groups (8 weekly sessions, up to 3 times a year) for ages 5–12 and 13–19 • Support at schools in School District 23, arranged through the school counsellor • Horse grief camp and expressive arts activity nights ▸ How to access • Anyone can make a referral. Call the Bereavement Services Coordinator at 250-763-5511. • Some groups and camps need you to register by phone.
