If you or your child need dental care but can't afford it, Mamas for Mamas may be able to help. Fill the Gap is for mamas, caregivers and children living in poverty or going through a crisis, who don't qualify for government dental coverage. ▸ Who can get this? • Mothers and caregivers living in poverty or in crisis • Their children • People who don't qualify for government help, or whose coverage falls short • The Clinical Team checks each person's financial need ▸ What you get In Kelowna, the program works with Care Dental. You may get: • Free or lower-cost dental care • Referrals for preventive and needed treatment • Help planning ongoing dental care ▸ How to apply 1. Fill out the Mamas for Mamas Support Application online and choose the Kelowna branch. 2. A resource coordinator will contact you within 48 hours. 3. The team reviews your request and connects you to care. ▸ What you need • ID for you, uploaded with the Support Application • ID for your children if you have it (birth certificate, care card or student ID) ▸ Good to know • Only send the Support Application once. • Questions?
