BC Disability Assistance (Persons with Disabilities)

Monthly income and health support for BC residents with a Persons with Disabilities (PWD) designation. Up to $1,483.50/month (single) for support and shelter, plus a $52/month transportation supplement and extended health benefits (dental, optical). You can earn up to $16,200/year without affecting your payment. šŸ“‹ How to apply: 1. Go to myselfserve.gov.bc.ca and create a My Self Serve account 2. If not already on income assistance, open a file with the Ministry first 3. Request a PWD Application booklet (call 1-866-866-0800) 4. Have your doctor or nurse practitioner complete the medical sections 5. Submit through My Self Serve Need help applying? Disability Alliance BC offers free one-on-one support: 1-800-663-1278 or advocacy@dabc.ca. Your doctor should NOT charge extra for completing PWD forms (covered by MSP).
