If you can't afford the full price of a YMCA membership, or you have a permanent disability, you may pay less at the Kelowna Family Y. ▸ Who can get this? • People and families who can't pay the full fee because of money barriers • People with a permanent disability (the Ability Pass) • Not for international students ▸ What you get • A lower membership or program fee, based on your household income and size. You still pay part of it. • Memberships are approved for one year. ▸ How to apply 1. Fill out the Application for Financial Assistance. 2. Bring it with your documents to the branch. No appointment needed. 3. Staff review it with you in private. ▸ What you need • Last year's Notice of Assessment (NOA, your tax summary from CRA) for every adult in your home • Or 3 months of bank statements showing income • For the Ability Pass: proof you get a permanent disability pension • A credit card, void cheque or bank form for monthly payments ▸ Good to know • The Ability Pass does not cover a family pass. • You are expected to use your membership, about twice a week. • 375 Hartman Road, Kelowna.
