BGC Okanagan runs programs for children, youth and families at several sites in Kelowna. Hours and ages depend on the program. ▸ Ages 0–5 Infant toddler daycare, daycare and preschool. ▸ Ages 5–14 After-school programs and recreation programs. Parents pay a yearly membership and program fees. Subsidies or Jumpstart funding may be available for eligible families. ▸ Youth (Downtown Youth Centre, 1633 Richter Street) • Youth Recreation drop-in for ages 13–18, Monday–Friday 3 pm – 8 pm. • Reconnect counselling for youth 13–18 and their families. • Upstream Kelowna — helps prevent youth homelessness and school drop-out. • Restorative Justice for ages 12–24. • Outreach Mental Health for youth 12–18, by referral.
