Practical, non-medical help at home so older adults can keep living on their own and stay connected to the community. Run by the Peachland Wellness Centre (PWC). Help comes from volunteers and paid workers. ▸ What's included: • Light housekeeping • Transportation • Friendly visiting • Light yard work • Snow removal ▸ Who qualifies: • A PWC Service Coordinator checks your income and your needs • If you don't qualify, you can still use other PWC services like Friendly Visitor/Caller and Transportation ▸ How to access: 1. Call PWC at 250-767-0141 2. A Service Coordinator will book an assessment ▸ Hours: Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, by appointment ▸ Address: 4475 4th Street, Peachland, BC V0H 1X6 ▸ Cost: Housekeeping, transportation, yard work and snow removal are charged on a sliding scale based on income. Transportation has a suggested donation based on trip length.
