Home support from Interior Health if you are eligible. Trained community health workers help with daily living at home, like bathing, dressing and grooming, plus special exercises, medication and other care needs. They can also give your caregiver a break. ▸ Not included: house cleaning or laundry. ▸ Cost: there may be a daily charge, depending on your income. ▸ How to access: call Home Health Central Intake at 1-800-707-8550. You can refer yourself or a family member. A doctor or nurse practitioner can also send a referral.
