Volunteer drivers from the Peachland Wellness Centre (PWC) drive Peachland residents to appointments, shopping and banking. They can also pick up groceries you ordered online and bring them to you. This is for people in Peachland who can no longer drive and can't use public transit or taxis. ▸ Where rides go: Peachland, Penticton, Summerland, West Kelowna and Kelowna. ▸ How to book: 1. First call PWC at 250-767-0141 to sign up as a participant 2. Then call 250-767-0141 at least 48 hours before your trip ▸ Cost: suggested donation to cover fuel. You pay other costs, like parking. ▸ Drivers are screened volunteers using their own cars.
