A day program for adults who need support, run by the Peachland Wellness Centre with Interior Health. It gives people a supervised day in a group, and gives caregivers time for errands, personal needs or rest. ▸ Who it's for: • Frail older adults • People living with dementia • People with chronic health issues or disabilities (complex care clients, as defined in Ministry of Health policy) ▸ What happens: • Light exercise • Arts and crafts, games • Lunch and snacks ▸ When and where: • Mondays and Thursdays, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, by appointment • 4445 6th Street, Peachland (not the main PWC office) ▸ How to access: 1. Call Interior Health Central Intake at 250-980-1400 2. Interior Health checks if you are eligible 3. If eligible, Interior Health refers you to the Peachland Wellness Centre ▸ Cost: a small (nominal) cost. ▸ Not a replacement for medical care.
