Help for people 65 and older who have dementia or other mental health or substance use concerns. A team of different health workers gives assessments, treatment, care management, community support and caregiver support. ▸ Services may include: • Mental health and competency assessments • Medication help, review and monitoring • Care coordination and referrals • Self-management support • Life skills education and support • Family education and support ▸ How to get help: Call 310-MHSU (6478) or visit the Kelowna Mental Health & Substance Use centre at 505 Doyle Avenue. You can also ask your family doctor or nurse practitioner for a referral.
