If you get income, disability, or hardship assistance in BC for December, you get a one-time winter supplement in your December payment to help with holiday costs. ▸ How much (2026 rate table): • Single person: $60 • Couple with no children: $120 • Family with children: $120 plus $20 for each child ▸ Good to know: • It is added automatically — you don't need to apply • It is not paid at any other time of year • Not paid to people only on the Senior's Supplement (with no family on assistance), Medical Services Only, or children in the Child in Home of a Relative program ▸ Questions: 1-866-866-0800 or My Self Serve.
