Temporary income if you lost your job, can't work due to illness, are on parental leave, or are caregiving. Pays up to 55% of your earnings (max $729/week in 2026) for 14-45 weeks. Also covers sickness (15 weeks), maternity (15 weeks), parental (35 or 61 weeks), and caregiving (15-26 weeks). Apply online at canada.ca within 4 weeks of your last day. You need a Record of Employment (ROE) from your employer.
