Free emotional support and practical help for victims, witnesses and families affected by crime or trauma. You can get help whether or not you reported to police. ▸ Help includes: • Emotional, grief and loss support • Safety planning information • Court orientation and going to court with you • Help with victim impact statements and Crime Victim Assistance Program forms • Updates on the police investigation and court case • Referrals for counselling, legal and financial help ▸ How to get help: You can refer yourself. Call 250-470-6242 or email kelowna.VictimServices@rcmp-grc.gc.ca. Caseworkers answer Monday to Friday. Support is in person or by phone. If you are in danger, call 9-1-1.
