A mobile, in-person mental health crisis team for people 13 and older in Kelowna. CRCL (say "circle") is confidential, voluntary and consent-based. It is not a police or emergency medical service. ▸ How it works: 1. Call or text 778-940-2560 2. A trained dispatcher talks with you about what support you need 3. They may send a two-person CRCL team to meet you where you are in the community, or connect you to other services — including calling 911 for you if emergency help is needed ▸ Who can call: you, or someone you know in Kelowna who is having a mental health crisis. ▸ The team focuses on calming things down, safety planning and follow-up after the crisis. It brings lived experience and clinical expertise. ▸ Hours: 11:00 AM–8:30 PM, seven days a week. ▸ CRCL is not equipped for violent disputes or intimate partner violence. ▸ Outside CRCL hours (24/7): • 9-8-8 — call or text • 310-6789 — BC Mental Health & Crisis Response • 1-800-784-2433 — suicide prevention line • 1-800-588-8717 — KUU-US Crisis Line, for Indigenous people CRCL is run by CMHA Kelowna with CMHA BC Division, the City of Kelowna, the Province of BC and Health Canada.
