The Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society (KFS) offers culturally grounded programs for Indigenous people of all ages in Kelowna. Many services are open to everyone. ▸ Outreach (adults 19+, youth in some situations) Mobile, low-barrier help. Everyone is welcome, with a focus on urban Indigenous people. You can refer yourself. • Applications for KFS housing and other housing providers • Food, clothing and hygiene items for people who are unhoused (3 days a week in the field) • Temporary rental supplements (through BC Housing) • Help applying for ID • Bus tickets for job, medical or housing appointments • Help with income assistance questions and applications ▸ Housing • i spa-us: affordable apartments downtown, open to all applicants 19 and older • Margaret's Landing: subsidized housing for people with Indigenous ancestry • Tupa's Lodge: second-stage transition house for Indigenous mothers and birthing parents Apply online, or email housing@kfs.bc.ca.
