Free family programs in Kelowna. All programs are free. ▸ Programs • Nurturing Fathers: an 8-week group for fathers • Self-Help Opportunities for Parents: for parents of children under 11, with weekly one-on-one visits • Parenting Through Recovery: support for mothers dealing with substance addiction • The Zone @ Horseworks: equine learning for parents and youth ages 10 to 16 (no riding) • Elements of Change: equine-assisted learning • Anger Management groups • Outreach: in-home support for parents (referral by a Ministry of Children and Family Development social worker only) ▸ How to join • For most programs you can refer yourself by phoning the office: 250-861-4933 • Agencies, Public Health and MCFD can also refer you • Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM • Fax: 250-861-4956
