Individual and Family Wellness support (previously called respite) gives people eligible for CLBC and their families funding for services or supports that make daily life more comfortable, healthy and happy. People have used it to pay someone to stay with them, to take courses or workshops, or to get peer-to-peer support. You can use it once or on a regular schedule, at home or somewhere else. ▸ Two ways to get it • Self-directed: you, your family or your support network arrange the funding and services • Agency-coordinated: a contracted service provider arranges them ▸ Who can use it CLBC supports people in BC who are 19 or older and have a developmental disability, and adults with Autism or FASD who need significant help with day-to-day tasks. ▸ Kelowna office Suite 100 - 2045 Enterprise Way, Kelowna.
