Hands in Service volunteers and trained staff visit once or twice a month. They help with basic household cleaning and tasks, and offer friendly connection. ▸ Who home support is for People ages 19–64 who are alone and have mobility challenges, low income and little community support. The application asks that you have a diagnosed physical impairment that stops you from cleaning, and no money or family to pay for or help with cleaning. You are no longer eligible on and after your 65th birthday. ▸ Food hamper delivery For Central Okanagan Food Bank clients under 65 who can't pick up their food because of health-related mobility challenges. Delivery is once a month on a Thursday, between 10 AM and 2 PM. ▸ How to apply Fill out the Client Application (home support) or the Food Hamper Delivery Application on their website.
