Free one-on-one help applying for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) designation and CPP Disability benefits. Advocates spend 1-3 hours helping you describe how your disabilities affect daily life ā by phone or in person. They also help connect you with your medical practitioner for the doctor sections. š Before your appointment, you need: 1. An open file at myselfserve.gov.bc.ca (apply for income assistance first) 2. A blank PWD Application booklet (request from the Ministry at 1-866-866-0800) 3. A medical professional willing to complete the medical sections Simplified PWD applications available if you already receive CLBC, At Home Program, PharmaCare Plan P, or CPP Disability benefits. Interpretation services available in any language including ASL.
