If you are 60 or older and homeless or at risk of losing your home in Kelowna or the area, a Housing Navigator can help you find stable, safe housing. They do not provide housing themselves. ▸ What they help with • Register for BC Housing resources • Apply for below-market (social and rental) housing • Apply for SAFER (Shelter Aid for Elderly Renters) • Check if you can get federal or provincial government supports, including income assistance • Housing search, tenant applications, property viewings and reviewing a lease • Setting up your new home • In some cases, one-time money to help you move in, like a damage deposit, first month's rent or moving costs ▸ Contact Phone: 250-861-6180, ext. 2 Email: housing@seniorsoutreach.ca Fax: 778-753-0660 Office: 155 Asher Road, Kelowna.
