If you have a modest income and simple taxes, volunteers can file your tax return for free. KCR Community Resources runs this clinic with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). ▸ Who can get this? • People and families with low incomes • Newcomers and international students • Seniors and people living with disabilities • Not for you if you have self-employment, rental or investment income ▸ How to apply 1. Download and fill out the intake form. 2. Drop off your forms and tax papers at 620 Leon Ave, Kelowna. 3. Volunteers do your return. You pick it up later (4 to 8 weeks). You can also ask for a virtual appointment. In-person appointments are only in March and April; book with reception. ▸ Good to know • The clinic runs March to June and September to December. • Filing taxes keeps benefits coming, like the Canada Child Benefit and the Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit (the new name for the GST/HST credit). • The website still said "closed for summer" in October 2026. Call before you go.
