The focus is on accountability and repairing harm rather than punishment. ▸ How it works • After a referral, a facilitator meets with each person separately. • Then everyone affected meets for a facilitated conversation. • Victims can ask questions, describe the impact, take part in deciding what happens, and ask for restitution. • Agreements can include restitution or commitments to change behaviour. ▸ Who can take part • Adults 19+ who accept responsibility for the harm, with minimal RCMP interaction about the incident. • You must be referred by Central Okanagan RCMP, Courts, Community Corrections, Bylaw Services, or ICBC. ▸ Location: 205-1460 Pandosy Street, Kelowna ▸ Contact the John Howard Society regional office • Phone: 250-763-1331 • Email: info@jhsok.ca • Fax: 250-763-1483
