Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada helps people of all ages with vision loss live more independent, active lives. ▸ What they help with: • Choosing and using low vision aids, like magnifiers, and assistive technology, like screen readers • Safe ways to cook, use appliances and organize your home • Getting around safely, including using a white cane and other mobility tools • Other specialized services, like help with work or school ▸ How it works: After a referral, a client navigator contacts you to learn about your vision loss, needs and goals. Together you make a plan. Sessions are in person, by phone or online. ▸ How do I get this? You can refer yourself, a family member or someone you care about.
