A one-year treatment program for children and teens ages 8 to 17 who have experienced sexual abuse. It is open to families across Canada. ▸ How it works • Four stays at the Ranch over 12 months, in a safe, camp-like setting. The first stay is 26 days for ages 8-12, or 12 days for ages 13-17. Then there are three more 12-day stays. • Between stays, children and caregivers keep getting support through Be Brave Bridge, a secure online program. • Uses proven therapies, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT). Caregivers take part too. ▸ Who can attend • The abuse must have been reported to the RCMP, a Child Advocacy Centre or another authority. • The child must be in good physical health, able to take part in treatment, and able to do daily living tasks on their own. ▸ Cost Treatment costs a lot, but Little Warriors helps families find funding and financial help. Ask the intake team when you apply. ▸ How to apply Parents, guardians, caregivers, extended family and professionals can apply using the online form. The intake team will contact you. ▸ Contact Toll-free: 1-855-922-9010 Phone: 780-922-9010 Fax: 1-825-206-0502 Email: info@littlewarriors.ca Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (Mountain Time).
