Community Pharmacy – Minor Ailments & Contraception (MACS)

You can walk into most BC pharmacies and get assessed and prescribed treatment for 21 common conditions — UTIs, cold sores, shingles, allergies, acne, eczema, pink eye, oral thrush, and more — at no cost. Contraception including emergency contraception can also be prescribed. No appointment needed at most pharmacies. The assessment must be in person. Medication costs may depend on your coverage.
