The Employment Standards Branch looks after B.C.'s Employment Standards Act. The law sets rules for pay, wages and working conditions in most workplaces. You can learn about your rights at work, like minimum wage, hours and overtime, time off, statutory holidays, and being fired or laid off. You can also file a complaint.
