Please note: applications are currently closed. Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides says applications are closed for new clients in its Canine Vision, Hearing, Seizure Response, Service, Autism Assistance and Diabetes Alert programs, and they do not have a date when applications will reopen. If you had a Dog Guide from them before, you can still reapply by emailing client-services@dogguides.com. Provides trained Dog Guides at no cost to Canadians with medical or physical disabilities. Dog Guide programs include: vision, hearing, service (mobility), seizure response, autism assistance, diabetic alert, and facility support dogs. Dogs are matched to recipients after an assessment process. All training and dogs are provided free of charge thanks to donor support.
