Jordan's Principle makes sure First Nations children can get the products, services and supports they need for their health, social and educational needs. It is free to access. Regional staff will help you submit a request for free. ▸ Who is covered A First Nations child under the age of majority who lives in Canada and is registered or eligible to be registered under the Indian Act, has a parent or guardian who is, is recognized by their nation for Jordan's Principle, or usually lives on reserve. ▸ How to ask • BC region (requests): 778-951-0716, Monday to Friday 8 AM - 4 PM, or principedejordancb-bcjordansprinciple@sac-isc.gc.ca • Urgent requests: Jordan's Principle Call Centre, 1-855-572-4453 (TTY 1-866-553-0554), open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week The call centre is not for emergencies or crises.
