Lower-income seniors in Kelowna can get a reloadable Nutrition Card with up to $108 a month for four months. Use it at the local Farmers' Market for fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, dairy, eggs and more. Seniors Outreach is a local partner for this program. ▸ Who can apply • You must be receiving the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS). • Spots are limited. Priority goes to new participants each year. ▸ How it works 1. Join the waitlist online (the 2027 waitlist is open). 2. In May and June, staff review applicants by household income and other community supports. 3. Final selection is in mid-June. 4. The program runs in summer and fall.
