A volunteer adult mentor meets with a child in Grades 1 to 7 at the child's school in Kelowna. They meet for one hour a week, at the same time and day, for the agreed match period. They do things like board games, crafts, or just hanging out. ▸ What it helps with Kids in mentoring programs gain self-esteem, problem-solving skills, and skills for building positive relationships with peers and adults. ▸ When The program page says applications will be accepted again in September 2026. Email to check if they are open. ▸ How to apply A parent or guardian fills out the Application and Consent Form on the website. Schools can use the Student Nomination Form.
