The Okanagan Nation Alliance (ONA) works with its member communities to advance, defend and preserve Syilx Okanagan sovereignty, title and rights. Programs are for Syilx Okanagan people. ▸ Wellness • Child and Family Supports and Services — Family Decision Making and Early Years, guided by the Syilx Nation Family Plan. • Mental Health and Crisis Response — Okanagan Nation Response Team (ONRT), You Empowered Strong (YES), Youth Wellness, and a Mental Health and Substance Use Advocate. • Health — including Health Care Advocacy. • Jordan's Principle Service Coordination — help getting health, social and education supports. • nʔaysnúlaʔxʷ Family Wellness Centre — being turned into a Syilx-led youth and family wellness centre. • Syilx Indian Residential School Committee — a survivor-led committee supporting healing. ▸ Bursaries Building a Better Future — scholarships, bursaries and awards for eligible Syilx Okanagan Nation members (high school and post-secondary). ▸ Fisheries and Natural Resources Salmon (ntytyix), water (siwɬkʷ), wildlife (tmixʷ) and land (tmxʷulaxʷ). ▸ Contact Main office: #101-3535 Old Okanagan Hwy, Westbank.
